Learn to hand piece like a 19th Century Quilter using time tested techniques. All of those antique or traditional quilts that you LOVE but are too intimidated to make, will come into reach, after spending the day piecing with Margaret. Learning to piece and stich curves with ease. In this Workshop Margaret will be offering 2 of her new quilt designs. One quilt option is 36 Allbrook Hill and the other quilt is Mayflower.

36 Allbrook Hill.
This whimsical quilt features a central applique block with an appliquéd house, surrounded by scattered whimsical details. Then follows some delightful borders to build your skills in small scale hand piecing and some more applique.

Mayflower is a pretty quilt to make. Lovely summery colours are featured in the simple applique shapes of the blocks. Margaret will cover a few ways to achieve great results. The border trees are a fun and folky element added to a very traditional style block.
